Happy Monday Morning!
Ahhh gotta love Monday mornings. On Friday we got a letter from City of Richmond that they would be doing work in our neighborhood on some water mains. I saw them last week working down on the other end of the block. Early this morning I hear a bunch of guys outside in the front lawn, and some heavy machinery. I couldn't be bothered to get up and look as I was wiped from the weekend of weddings (got home late from a reception Sunday night). Anyhoo, I eventually woke up because my room was rattling, looked outside, and here is what I saw, an excavator, parked on our lawn.
By the time I got ready, they already had a hole dug about 5x8' and about 4' deep. Supposedly they were to dig over 8' deep, but due to the large tree on the right, they now have to bring in some engineers to see if it is possible without the tree falling over. And seeing as that tree is at least 80yrs old, I doubt they want to do that. I'll snag some more pics later on today.
On another note, a congrats again to Sheena and Woytek on their wedding, and Gigi and Randy also on their wedding! Both were a blast (dancing last night will be unforgettable!), and now I get to look forward to yet another wedding this upcoming weekend!
