Snow Tubing
So the girls convinced me to go snow tubing tonight up at Cypress Mountain. Who am I to say no to the call of the snow capped mountains? 20 mins after reaching the top and bundling up, we hit the hills.
4 lanes were open in total, one of them, being a single run only, because of the high speed. It generally had the biggest lineup because everyone wanted to go fast fast! By the end of it, all the people there were trying to get over a large wall at the end, where the safety fence was, but nobody could do it.
Or wait. Do I hear laughing? I got a solid push from someone at the top, which sent me speeding past the girls at the bottom, flying way to fast, up and over the barricade wall, and crashing into the safety fence which was on a steep incline. Of course I landed awkward, butt in the snow, feet up in the air, unable to get up or move, stuck in the safety net. And all I could hear was the girls laughing. Thanks for helping a man out :P I'm glad to say due to my 'performance' they closed down the single run.
Everyone put on their poses for our single shots at the top of the hill (see image above). Some things to mention. Audrey had the classic 'bubbletea' pose. She asked for a hello-kitty tube, but they were all out. Jacquie had to goto the bathroom bad. And Cristian posing with her USA tube :P.
Secret for you who haven't been in a while or are planning on going. LIFT your butt off the ground while going down. I swear my right butt cheek will be black and blue tomorrow. I gave it too good smacks on the solid sheet of ice on the way down. It hurts so much I can barely walk. Now to go and rest it in bed. Ouch.
