Monday Mung
You know how we all love Monday Mung (lentils). Well, finally a reason to REALLY hate it.
Mom left the mugg on in the pressure cooker, and ran in a hurry to work. Dad arrived home a few hours later to a 'close to blowing' pressure cooker, and a smoked filled house.
Needless to say the entire upstairs smells like crap. Everything from carpet, clothing, blinds, speakers, wood, etc etc smells like smoke (and BURNT mugg smoke). Ek.
So we made the call to the insurance company, and I just finished up with the adjuster who will be getting an ENTIRE cleanage of the house done starting tomorrow. They will be bringing by two large air scrubbers today to pull out the 'air smell', but everything from carpets, sofas, bedding, mattresses, clothing, electronics, walls, will be cleaned.
Did I mention we told them we want this almost done for Diwali dinner this saturday?
Let the cleanage begin!
PS: why did I bother vacumming my room sunday?
