Party!
Phew, well tonight I finished shooting Day 1 of 3, for my sisters friends brothers wedding (did I lose you?).
Tonight was the 'pithi' night I guess at their house. But it was more like a Party night instead. Tents with lighting setup in the back, caterers with Tandoori oven on the road, DJ's, booze, music, pranks from the brides side, and more! Not to mention at least 200-300 people at least.
It was a pretty easy shoot, as I just walked around (when I could, it was so crowed), and grabbed as many shots as I could. I rented two lens for these shoots, the 24-70L and also the Sigma 70-200 (both 2.8). This is my first time using the 24-70, and while a great fast lens, its obviously not as wide as my 17-85, which really bit me a few times. I think next time I would probably rent the 17-40L.
Anyhoo, way past my bedtime, and I'm wiped. I'll hopefully post some pics shortly, or at least as soon as my monitor shows up. Its been almost a week and Dell still hasn't shipped it yet!
