COLDPLAY - Twisted Logic Tour 2006
So I was lucky enough to come across some tickets from Eugene (thanks man!) for the COLDPLAY Twisted Logic Tour last night. It also worked out to be the same night that Trev and Elieen were going, so we meet Natisha downtown and all went as "Coldplay Rookies" as Elieen called it.
The rumors were right and COLDPLAY certainly knows how to throw a concert. The crowd was into it the whole time, ESPECIALLY the couple infront of us, that decided it was in their best interest to stand the ENTIRE time (after the first minute) right thru the end. Even during the break they had to stand. Now I normally wouldn't have a big problem with it, but I took my camera and had to keep fighting to shoot between their swaying from side to side, which I lost a number of good photos.
Speaking of photos, I made sure to call guest services before going, just to make sure that I could take my new camera. I was told that as long as I don't have a large zoom lense, that I could do so. Seeing my biggest lens is 17-85mm (tiny!) I knew I wouldn't have a problem. But just like the Canucks game, I ran into the EXACT same BROWN security guard who said NO again. I told him I called guest services, and they said YES, because it depends on the artist performing (I guess some artist are anal and don't want you to take their photos). So he after some bickering, he said he would take me to guest services, but lucky one of them happened to walk over right then looked at my camera, asked where I was sitting, checked out the zoom, and put on a tag on my bag and let me in. Brown guys! Always gotta be power tripping!
Okay enough rambling, here's one picture, and more to come shortly! Make sure to check out the gallery.
