Geocache

So I've been meaning to do this for a while, and yesterday I finally found my first cache. You're probably wonder WTH is Geocache? Well quite simple its this: people from around the world will put together a small package, and hide it somewhere on public property. Then they post up the location where they hid it from their GPS (eg: N49 11.211 W 123 08.691). So you punch this into your GPS and go looking for the cache. Every cache should have a logbook which you can fill out, then also record it on the Geocache website, that you've been there. In the packages people leave SWAG (stuff), and you can take something only if you leave something.

Anyhoo so yesterday I figured I'd go out searching and find my first one, which I did. It was pretty fun, and took me about 5 mins to finally find it once I got to the point. You have to remember your GPS will bring you within' 5m or so of the area. There are many more around Richmond, and thousands across the world. When I get some more time I'll go around looking for more.
