Swan Lake

So I went to my first Ballet yesterday. Natisha, Trev, Elieen (and her mom) and I went to the Centre of Performing Arts to catch Swan Lake. Ballet? Is Amish serious? Yes.

An old friend of mine (since grade 1), Heather Ogden, became a Principle Dancer this year for the National Ballet of Canada. Since it was her first performance back home since then, we decided to go and watch. I have to admit, it was quite spectacular to watch her and the rest of the dancers (mainly the women dancers). The length of time they stand on their toes, dancing around? Wowzer, just nuts! Here is a newspaper article from the Richmond Review on her.
