Semi vs. City Bus
I was just coming down Steveston hwy (about 5 mins ago) and I see a Semi-truck ahead of me make a left turn at 4rd, only to smoke into a city bus. It was a few hundo meters in front of me, so by the time I got to the intersection people were already pulling over to go in to help. On the 911 dial, I told them about it, which they were aware of. The bus was empty of passengers, except for the driver (probably going back to the depot 1 block away). As I got close to home, I see the firetruck from the 2rd station leaving their bay, going the opposite way on Steveston. Right away, my phone rings, and 911 is on the phone asking if the accident location is at No. 4 Road, or 4th Ave. I tell them 4 Road, and to tell the firetruck, cuz I can see them driving in the wrong direction.
Didn't have time to whip out the cellcam, but I'm sure pictures will be avaliable soon. That bus got smoked pretty hardcore. Hopefully the drivers are ok.
