Intake Manifold Gasket
Last weekend my engine light went on. Since I was going in for an oil change, I got Mazda to check the engine light. Code came back saying it was the Intake Manifold Gasket (which was leaking). Part is $15.00. Labour? $300. So I decided I would do it myself with the help of my friend, Matt (M@).
5 hours later, we're no where. We got all the cables/wires/fuel rail removed from the top of the manifold, however after so much hassle, we still couldn't get the manifold off. Pissed off, we left it for today. We'll see if the guys next door can help out, otherwise, I may have to tow the car to Mazda. What a byatch.
