HDTV is here!

I finally picked up a HDTV cable box. Its used, but the $240 price tag was too good to pass up. The guy selling it wanted $300, but I talked him down. Not too bad, since the new prices is $400+tax. It is only the Motorola DCT6200 (no PVR), but I can do with the PVR for now. I really just wanted to be able to use the TV to its full potential which I can now. I'll hold tight on the new Motorola box, which has PVR and dual tuner so you can finally record, and watch another channel at the same time (not to mention 120gig HD).

I can't believe the difference however. I was watchin' Jay Leno tonight, and flipping back and forth between regular broadcast, and HDTV, and the difference is night and day. Just like VHS compared to DVD. Its THAT clear, not to mention the sound quality as well. Wowzer! Can't wait for this weekend as well, as LOTR: Return of the King is going to be showing in HDTV, its gonna be awesome.
