Format c:\
Bleh, its that time again. You know, when your computer starts slowing down, odd things start happening, a few crashes here and there. Its just not right. The only way around it is the good ol' format and reinstall. On the bright side the computer is much faster without all the junk.
But backing up sucks. Until I spoke with Divman and Shane. They both got me into buying a DVD-ROM. Okay, on the bright side, I'd only probably need one or two DVD-R's, and I'll be done. Another $100+ out the wallet tho.
So I started my search, and came across.... yeah, you guessed it, a Pioneer DVD-ROM.
The model number is the DVR-A08XL (well not that exact model number, its gonna be the OEM version). Now I'd like to get the retail version (honeycomb on outside to make it quiet), comes with software, newest firmware, but for another $100? Nah.
So hopefully by this weekend I'll pick it up, and start a backup, and spend my long weekend, reinstalling my system. Fun. Who wants to help?
Just what I thought. Sod.
