PowerBall
I finally got my own powerball. I've been wanting to get one for a while, but too expensive to order from the states. NCIX.com finally brought them in, so I picked them up while on special. I took it by the flight school, which brought some interest, and Nav went and bought two (one for himself, and another flight instructor). I ended up picking up another one for Natisha. Didn't bother with the LED ones, they dont' spin as fast, and are just more $$.
Been flying quite a bit lately. Yesterday went up for a pre-solo checkout flight, as I haven't been solo since last year. Went up with Class 1 instructor, Druvi, and it went quite well. Then went up with John later on. Wow, 2 flights killed me. Didn't go flying today, but just planned out navlog for a cross country trip to Victoria, Nanaimo, and back. Should be good, as I haven't done any trips westerly, and I'll be doing more radio work, talking with Vancouver and Victoria terminal which should be interesting. Hopefully I'll be able to fly along some bigger planes as well, specially going into Victoria.
Anyhoo, tomorrow will be my first solo of the year if the weather holds out, then another flight in the evening with John. I'm trying to get myself good to go on a flight test next week. Hopefully all will go well, and I'll be then pushing for my written by the end of the month. Wish me luck!
