Life in General

Well a few things have happened lately. I've taken some time of work to finally finish my private license. I've been diein' to finish it off, and I figure the only real way I'm going to do so, is if i'm not working. Its just way to hard to try and study after a day of work. Nothing sinks in the ol' noodle. So I started as of last week. I've done a few hours so far. Today I pretty much got the hand of landing the plane again. My touchdowns were perfect, just approach was a little off, but its getting better.

I'll probably do a pre-solo checkout flight again, as its been about six months, but then I should be back solo'in in the day time, and dual flight with instructor in the evenings. I'm hoping to get to flight test standard by end of next week.

On another sad note, I came to the realization that I will probably sell my bike. This took a while to overcome, but I finally realised today that this is for the best. I just don't have the enough money, and selling the bike, will give me enough to pay off half my loan which will really help me out to finish of my private license, and not be so much in the hole. Hell as it is, the bike isin't insured.

I will however insure it this weekend, as there will be a memorial ride for Bog on Sunday. I may insure it for 3-4 days, then let it go. I'm thinking about $6500, we'll see. Loss of $1500, but I've put over 16,000km on her, and she's been a great bike to me. As several ppl have told me already, that maybe when I land that smokin' pilot job, I'll buy her back again. Wouldn't want another bike. Well, maybe a Duc ;)
