Average Joe & Pre-Flight Test
 | Yesterday, yet another reality TV show started, Average Joe. Like the rest, its about one hot lady (this time, Melana Scantlin), who's going to a Mansion to meet her dream guy. Cept this time, they aren't all studs. No ripped muscles here. Just the regular "Average Joe" (or as I call it, AMERICAN Joe).
Anyhoo, the surprising thing about this one, as they FINALLY have a Indian guy in it. Its about bloody time. Thats my only downfall sight of survivor, as they will "always" have the one african-american male and female (just one of each I might add), but never a Indian bloke. Anyhoo, Tareq is a 21 year old professor. He's a little weird, but hopefully he's got some sense, and may give all the Indian guys out there a point on the table, if he gets the girl! I think he made a mistake with his "Do you like brocolli" question. |
Changin' the tables, today I went flying with Karen Douglas, who is a Class 4 instructor, which means she's able to give flight tests. She did a semi-pre-flight test with me today. Flew up to Glen Valley, and did some upper airwork, which consists of slow flight, stalls, spiral dives, and a spin. It was hella fun, as I haven't done any for a while, and was good practice. I also managed to show her my MONEY landing (probably the best I've ever done!).
Now that i'm getting close to my license, I gotta start studyin' the books more.
