Instrument Training

So unlike in the USofA, by Canadian Law you are required to get your private pilot license, to have 5 hours of instrument training. This is where you wear a hood (a big plastic cover that doesn't let you look outside the plane, only the cockpit. Your instructor keeps look out, and tells you to go here, go there, climb here, desend there, all keeping the right heading, and correct airspeed. Its quite interesting, specially when the weather isin't cooperating. Anyhoo, so we flew around today, then he hold me to take it off, and next thing I knew, we were in cloud. Well not 100%, if I looked down, we could just barely see the ground, but forward/sideways/behind us, was all cloud.

"This is a scenario that you do not want to be in", John told me. No kiddin'. It was still pretty cool to see however. Within the next 20 seconds or so, we were out of the cloud. But that was pretty neat...
