Tradex Track Day

Setting up for the hairpin

On Saturday I went back to Tradex for a track day on my bike. There was 2 groups of ART, one of Racer School, and one for Track. There was about 6 guys in the Track group, and the instructors came in to put as to shame as well.

Had a major blast, cept for 2 things holding me back. My tires were slightly square from all the city riding I do, so getting into turns had a slight hesitation, then a drop. Also I finally wore thru my front brakes, so there was a little shutter coming down the strectch and also before the hairpin which wasn't fun.

Only 2 crashes the entire day. One guy in the Racer course went down, and the instructor close behind him, hit him as they were in a turn. Also Bart, a older fella who was in my Art course in June also went down RIGHT behind me in the hairpin. We had been battlin' it out all day, and I knew he was close, so I took the hairpin tight. He tried to take me on the inside, but it was a little too tight. Ever
