Happy Birthday Christian!
Christian joined the club and turned 23 today. We went over to Curtis's house for a BBQ. Today was also the last night for the girls (Audrey, Kim, Jen, Andrea) who are on their way to Thailand tomorrow for 2 months, so it was a nice going away type of BBQ.
Jen who had been bugging me to go on the bike for the longest time, finally got her chance. We booted down to the dyke, when she said she saw a fire near Steveston Hwy. We looked back, and noticed smoke, so we headed over to 3rd/Steveston, where the farm/fruitstand was engulfed in flames. One fire truck was there already, and a few police cars. We turned around, and went back via Steveston Hwy, and continued to watch the huge flames, and the fire fighters at work. After we headed back to Curtis's house, I took Christian for her Bday ride on the bike as well. We went back to the fire, but it was pretty much out by then.
I'm pooped, bed time...
