BC Fires
Wowzer, the fires up in Kelowna are really getting out of control. I just heard they have evacuated 30,000 people. Thats a 1/3 of Kelowna's population. Houses have already started to catch fire and burn down. Kettle Valley is gone and there's a hundred homes burning in Crawford Estates. There have actually been several looters, but they have been caught. I would tie them up, and leave them near the fires. Idiots.
These guys deserve tons. Firefigthers, Marines, Reserves, they are all up there fighting. One guy from my flight school who is in the reserve, was flown up on Tuesday to cut fire lines. He said his packed weighed in at 160lbs, counting his chainsaw, fuel, water. No shower for 14 days is how long he says they'll be up there... unless they get it under control, or not.
 
Wowzer, this is a cool photograph, would LOVE to be doing this up there... Some more photo's...
