Slipping

Went out to do some curcuits in Pitt Meadows (YPK) today. It was kinda bumpy. My landings where brutal. Kept pulling up, when I should be letting her sit! Anyhoo, one crosswind caught me off guard, not to mention coming in to steep, so John (my instructor) took over, and did a SWEET slide slipping procedure. Just think about going fast in your car, and pulling the e-brake, and slidding sideways. Well its the same thing, but you're in the air, plane is turned about 30 degrees, yet you're going straight in line with the runway. Then a quick movement, and you're inline again, dropped down the right altitude, and touchdown. It was very cool...
