MHP Carbon Fiber Intake
Well I finally decided to take the time, and fight this intake to get it to fit.
I spent about 1-1/2 hrs on it, and FINALLY got it to fit. Its a REAL tight fit, and don't think it could fit ANY other way, but its in there. I took the car for a quick boot, and INSTANTLY the biggest difference is the sound level. Its MUCH louder than the Ractive intake for sure. There is a LOT more throttle response as well. I can REALLY feel it on the gas pedal when you give it, there is a lot more vibration. Power wise, i'm not sure if there is much of a difference. I think there is a little more (we all want a little more), but only a dyno test would truely tell the truth.
I've got the bypass valve as well in there, JUST incase it takes up any water.. but with the bottom cover, I doubt much water will get inside the front well where the intake is.
