TWM Short Shifter
 | Our Protege Club recently did a group buy on the TWM Performance Short Shifter. Unfort at the time I didn't have much cash, so I couldn't go ahead with it. I did get a chance to try it out, on Rogers car. Needless to say it was a HUGE difference over the stock one. After taking his car for a spin, I was pissed I didn't just buy it and suffer.
Well as you may or may not know yet, I've been making custom aluminum oil caps for the Mazda Protege. So I thought I'd send TWM a short email, explaining what I do (work at my dad's CNC machine shop) and see if they were willing to send me a shifter, and in return, I would make a short promo video for them to use on their website and also send them a custom oil cap. |
Well I sent the email over a week ago, and didn't get any reply. But today I got a email from them, and they were exceptionally nice to agree with my proposal! Unfort their show car they used was is no longer there (for the oil cap), but they said the video would be perfect! Awesome! Its good to know there are some wicked companies out there! I'll still send them a custom oil cap, even if its just for show in their office. Its the generousity that really counts here. They also mentioned that they are making new products for the Protege's in the coming months... wicked! Will keep you updated on the install, and the video!
