Importfest
So the 2002 Importfest took place at Canada Place this year. It all started off on friday night, when roll-in was suppose to happen. A few guys from the Protege Club were in the show, and they needed their oil caps, so I drove over at 6:30 to meet up with them. The cars were to hold at the docks at the end of Main St, where they would be told when to drive into the convention center. Well 4 hours past, and they were all finally told to go home. What superb planning...
They arrived at 8:00am the next morning, and were lucky to get there first. I headed over with Nat around 7ish, and spent a good 3 hours there, checking our the rides/women errr did I say women? I mean the cars... heh...
All in all, a good show, but just brutal planning...
