So my cousin from England came down, with his wife on Monday. I took yesterday off, and drove up to Whistler for the day with them. Everything went fine, until the ride back. We stopped over at Brandywine Falls, on the way back, for a quick stop over. If you've ever been there, you know about that ledge you walk up to, where you look off the cliff and see the falls. We'll, while looking over, I was wondering if anyone drops anything of the ledge, how they would get it back.

Luck had me this day, as my Oakley sunglasses, which I had around my neck, took their last look at the world, and took a jump. Now, had I not moved, they would of fell on this tiny ledge, where I MIGHT of been able to get them, but I quickly reacted and tried to grab them, and they went flying a little futhur, onto a tree about 25 feet below, on the side of the cliff. Now one of the arms came off on the tumble, but the actual lense, and 1 arm, got stuck in the tree.

Now with rain/wind I'm sure they will eventually fall down to the bottom, where the rocks are. The only way I can think of to get down there is to hike from bottom of the river. By the looks, it seems like a 3-4 hour hike, nothing to hard, maybe wet, and some possible grizzles/black bear area, since its around the water. Marty's coming back on the 30th of Sept, and we wanna shoot a movie. I think the first movie is going to be the reunion with my sunglasses.

You ask why all the hard work to get there, just for a pair of $120 sunglasses. Its not the sunglasses we go for. Its the adventure. Stay tuned, as if all goes well a great movie will take place ...
