BREAKING NEWS: America Under Terrorist Attack
 | Its sick I tell you. What is this world coming to?
Incase you've been asleep, and have no connection to the outside world (cept my website), the United States of America has been under attack since about 7am this morning. I've listed below a number of events that have taken place so far. |
-Plane crashes into tower of World Trade Center in lower Manhattan, shortly before 9 a.m. Eastern.
-Second plane crashes into the second tower of the World Trade Center, shortly after 9 a.m. Eastern.
-An aircraft crashes near Pentagon, just outside of Washington D.C., in Northern Virginia, about an hour after the attacks in New York.
-Government buildings in Washington, including the Capitol and the White House, are evacuated with officials citing a credible threat of a terrorist attack.
-The Federal Aviation Administration shuts down all aircraft takeoffs nationwide.
-Shortly after 10 a.m. Eastern, one World Trade Center tower in New York collapses, about an hour after being hit by plane.
-Officials at Somerset County Airport say a large plane crashes in western Pennsylvania, about 80 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, at about 10:00 a.m.
-The second tower of the World Trade Center collapses at 10:28 a.m. Eastern.
-Fourth explosion rocks the collapsed remains of the World Trade Center, at about 10:38 a.m.
-Authorities across the country go on alert, tightening security at strategic facilities and evacuating high-profile buildings. U.S. monuments and museums in Washington D.C. are closed.
-Securities and Exchange Commission says all financial markets are closed for the day.
-American Airlines confirms two planes, carrying a total of 156 people, are "lost".
 | And it continues... I can't help but wonder what goes thru peoples mind when they think of doing something like this? I heard on the TV, that this is considered, "Pearl Harbour 2. I don't doubt that for one second. I know 2 things. First, when they find out who did it, and I can't help but think that its some Irabic/Islamic country or so... why? Well they did speak with Afghanistan's Taliban rulers, and they clearly said not to blame "Osama bin Laden" who is known for the 1998 bombings of two U.S. Embassies in East Africa. The US has been trying to get the Afghanistans to hand him over for trial, but fail to do so. |
Secondly, a video was recieved a few weeks back, that was from Osama bin Laden, which was to be seen by his hardship followers, where he stated that he wanted to get back at the American's. Now I can't confirm who indeed it was, but all I hope is that when they do find out who did it, I hope that they seriously bomb them off the face of the earth. These type of people don't deserve to live at all. At least not on this world, and if not any other.
And just for some Vancouver news, Security has been beefed up at Vancouver International Airport. The public is being kept out of the Vancouver terminal areas and officials say there will be no departures until further notice. They're asking the public and passengers to stay away from the airport. Some aircraft will be landing from other areas, but officials don't expect a large number of U.S. aircraft to be diverted to Vancouver.
U.S. officials have closed the Peach Arch border crossing south of Vancouver and Canadian customs is conducting extensive searches of vehicles heading north.
